About Foxes

Florida's red fox has medium size and red colored fur similar to rusty. It is related closely to dogs. A red fox can weigh up to 9 kg. the male species is heavier than the female, and the length is up to 1000 mm. Red fox is considered athletic as they can run fast, jump and leap without being captured. However they leave claw marks on fences and trees. In general, there are 11 species of fox that inhabit Asia, North America, North Africa and Europe. the wide distribution has also reached Australia. So far as the matter of animals is concerned, anyone can have a pet animal but no one would like to have an animal that is either dead or wild.

So, there are lots of ways through which a person can get rid of the Tampa animals he doesn’t want to keep inside the four walls of the house. Fox in Australia prey on rabbits – and it becomes their favorite species to hunt. The population spreads to the north and it becomes common to see them at the northern territory. Behavior
Florida's red fox marks their territory with the scent. Especially in breeding season, this is also the sign of reproductive. Foxes can be defensive especially to other species. In the breeding cycle, fox usually form group and many of them become helpers. They are commonly marking their home so that other Florida species don’t mistakenly make it as their home.

Foods
Tampa fox rest during the day. They can sleep by the tree, log or burrow. And when the night comes, they hunt down and make patrol to watch their territory. Red fox is a predator, an opportunistic that can prey on subordinate species. They are also scavenger that can become wild carnivore. They can eat up to 15 kg of animal including carrion, rabbits, mice and birds. They can eat fruits and inscets like beetles. As the food source is abundant, they bury the foods to be obtained during winter when they are not going for a hunt. The Florida fox becomes major contributor to the decline population of other animals that their presence become a concern to welfare.
